[Guide]Gemstones, Jewel of Harmony and Refining Stones

This is a quick guide on how to create Jewel of Harmonies and Refining Stones.

The Refining Tower:
The Refining Tower must be open in order for you to refine a Gemstone into a Jewel of Harmony.
In order to open the Refining Tower, you must first complete the Maya/Nightmare event, if it hasn't already been completed.

Entering:
- The entrance is located at Kantur_Remains (coordinates: 141, 186).

- You must be wearing the Moonstone Ring, which can be found from the mobs in Kantur_Remain.
** The Moonstone Ring cannot be traded, but can be dropped. You are also allowed to remove the ring and put another ring on, AFTER you have entered the Tower

- You must also be wearing Wings lvl1 or lvl2 in order to get in; Dinorants work too.
** It doesn't seem to detect lvl3 wings, and you must either use a lower lvl pair of wings or ride a Dinorant. Uniria's don't work because they can't fly.

The Battles:
- After entering, the event will start after a minute has passed (to avoid running into trouble, don't move until the small cut scene of Maya's statue rising from beneath finishes).

- You must then defeat 50 monsters, and then defeat Maya's Left Hand (15 minute limit). Then wait 2 minutes for the next battle to begin.
- You must then defeat another 50 monsters and defeat Maya's Right Hand (15 minute limit). Then wait 2 minutes for the next battle to begin.
- You must then defeat another 50 monsters and then defeat both Maya's Left and Right Hands at the same time (15 minute limit). Then wait 2 minutes for the next battle to begin.
- You are then moved to a different map, and you must now defeat three groups of monsters, and then Nightmare (20 minute limit).

- After finishing this event, you are allowed to enter the Refining Tower, and will remain open for 24 hours.
** After the 24 hours is up, the event will have to be completed again in order to use the Refining Tower.


Gemstones:
- These can be found anywhere in Kanturu (Kanturu_Ruin, Kanturu_Ruin2, Kantur_Remain).
* The drop rate is A LOT lower than that of Souls.




Jewel of Harmony:
- In order to make a Jewel of Harmony, you must go to the Refining Tower (if it is open and Maya/Nightmare is defeated).
** You do not need a Moonstone Ring in order to enter the Refining Tower. That is only needed if you have to kill Maya/Nightmare.

- Talk to Elpis, click "Refine Gemstone"
- Place the Gemstone in the square, and click "OK".
** There is a 50% chance of failure. Upon failure, the Gemstone will be consumed, and you get nothing in return.

- The Jewel of Harmony can then be used to add pink options or yellow options to your lvl 380 items (Dragon Knight armor, Silfy Dray, BoneBlade etc).




Adding a Yellow Option to items:
- To add a yellow option to your item, simply drag and drop the Jewel of Harmony onto the item of your choice.
** There is a 50% chance of failure. Upon failure, you lose the Jewel of Harmony, but your item is fine.
*** Luck option plays no role in this.
**** The Options generated are RANDOM.
***** Yellow optioned items cannot be sold or traded. They are locked into your account until the option is removed.
(This has not been proven yet, as I am able to put my yellow option BB in a trade window)



Removing a Yellow Option from an item:
- If the yellow option you get is not something you like, you may go to Aida and talk to the goblin[/color] Jerridon in order to remove the yellow option and try again for a better option.
** You do not get the Jewel of Harmony back when restoring the item.




Jewel of Guardian:
- These can be found in the Kalima Maps.

- They are used in conjunction with the Jewel of Harmony to add pink options to lvl 380 items.




Adding Pink Options to lvl 380 item:
- To add a pink option to your lvl 380 item, you must go to the Chaos Machine in Noria and place-
> 1 Jewel of Guardian
> 1 Jewel of Harmony
> Your lvl 380 item.

- Upon failure, you will only lose the Jewels. Your item is retained.

Item Upgrade Level Success Rate
4 ~ 6 ---------------------------- 50%
7 ~ 9 ---------------------------- 60%
10 ~ 13 -------------------------- 70%
** Pink options are irreversible.



You can have both yellow and pink options (only applicable to lvl 380 items).



Lower Refining Stones:
- To create Lower Refining Stones you must go to Aida and talk to the goblin, Osbourne.
- Place the general item into the box and press the "Refine" button.
- Items that are bought from NPC may be refined at lvl 4+.
- Items not bought from NPC may be refined at lvl 0+.
- There is a 20% chance of creating a Lower Refining Stone from general items.
** The item is consumed in the process.

- Lower Refining Stones may be used to increase the degree of a yellow option slightly.
** Can be used on an item up to 5 times.

- Failing to upgrade a yellow option will cause the yellow option to drop back down to it's base option (the lowest option possible). Just like a Jewel of Life does when you fail to use it on an item.




Higher Refining Stones:
- To create Higher Refining Stones you must go to Aida and talk to the goblin, Osbourne.
- Place an excellent item into the box, and press the "Refine" button.
- There is a 50% chance of creating a Higher Refining Stone from excellent items.
** The item is consumed in the process.

- Higher Refining Stones may be used to increase the degree of a yellow option greatly.
** Can be used on an item up to 5 times.

- Failing to upgrade a yellow option will cause the yellow option to drop back down to it's base option (the lowest option possible). Just like a Jewel of Life does when you fail to use it on an item.

it say on the server that u can buy all the jewels in shop so why do u need to creat harmony if u can buy it?
